What will we do in each class?

Every day is different! You may do fitness drills, take a jog/run, push ups, jump rope, free weights, core strengthening, weighted hula hoop etc. No two days are ever the same. Our instructors develop classes that will keep you engaged and smiling all through the workouts. You will also do ab exercises everyday, as well as injury prevention stretches and flexibility exercises.

Do I have to be an experienced exerciser?

No. ALL levels of fitness are encouraged to take the class. You work at your pace, with an instructor encouraging you to push yourself, while also learning to listen to your body. You’ll be surprised at how well you will fit in, as long as you come with a good attitude and willingness to sweat!

What qualifications do your instructors have?

All of our instructors are fitness certified, CPR and First Aid certified, and have several years of personal training and/or group fitness training experience.

What happens if the weather is an issue?

All Cardio and Sculpt boot camp classes take place rain or shine! We have a few covered facilities around City Park we can duck into in the event of rain. Sometimes, you will work out in the “elements.” Those are some of the most rewarding (and fun) classes.

What if my bed wins and I miss a class?

As a general rule, we do not allow “make-ups.” If we have to cancel or postpone a class, then another class will be offered that week. We want you to work out each session. That’s how you’ll get the best, quickest results!

Will I lose weight after a session?

If that is your goal, you sure will. How much weight totally depends on your personal health and how much you eat. You will also work closely with your instructor to meet your specific goals. Keep in mind that those two days a week won’t do it alone! Staying committed to moving (walking/running/yoga, etc) the other days of the week will help your body get or stay in shape. We offer additional personal training, nutritional guidance and/or personal shopping.

Will you be adding any other days or times for Boot Camp? The time that is offered is not convenient for me.

Please give us feedback. We would love to hear what days and times are good for you. With a minimum of five students, we will add a class if our schedule permits.
